HangCha Forklift Battery
A reference battery is selected from the 24V/48V/80V series group of Hangzhou forklift batteries to reflect the performance status of all batteries in the battery group.
The selected battery should be the one with low battery capacity in the series connected battery pack after initial charging.
Monthly recording of the reference battery can estimate the operating status of the forklift battery pack.
It is recommended to no longer use the battery when it consumes 80% of its capacity. Using a battery with appropriate capacity can help avoid excessive discharge.
Basic chemical properties of forklift battery
Generally equipped with 2.5-ton battery forklifts, most of them are originally equipped with the Firsola 9PZS630 battery. The battery adopts excellent internal and external structural design,
which can reduce the vibration or impact of forklifts on the battery during operation. When the electrode plate of the Hangzhou forklift battery is formed,
the active substance on the positive electrode plate undergoes anodic oxidation to generate Pb02, and the negative electrode plate undergoes cathodic reduction to generate sponge like lead.
In the early stage of formation, aPb02 is mainly generated in alkaline solution, while in the middle stage, BPb02 is mainly generated in acidic solution.
The formation time of the electrode plate is generally between 24-48 hours. According to different electrode plate changes, the electrolyte density is 1.02-1.10g/cm3, current density,
electrode plate thickness is<2mm, 5-8ma/cm2, thickness is 2.5-4mm, 7-12ma/cm2, thickness is>4mm, 10-20ma/cm2.
The special design ensures that the charging speed will decrease when charging to saturation state, thereby avoiding overcharging and extending its service life compared to traditional car
batteries. Excellent internal and external structural design can reduce the vibration or impact of forklifts on batteries during operation.
